WW1 - Famous Individuals

 
 

The great war, also known as ww1 was one of the greatest wars in modern times.  WW1 was, as many considered the beginning of the Second World War and even the Cold War.  This war had countless brave and fearless individuals who risked their lives, careers and reputations for the things they believed in.  You can learn about many of these people in this article.  How about Pancho Villa, who is still a controversial subject regarding his role in World War 1.  There are other of course, you can learn about one of the greatest writers of all time, Ernest Hemingway who wrote “A Farewell to Arms and many other timeless pieces of literature.  Or how about one of the most famous of them all, the leader of the French Revolution - Napoleon Bonaparte.  Napoleon and his life can be traced to the beginning of World War 1.  One of the most famous US Presidents and the President when the United States declared war on germany was Woodrow Wilson.  There are plenty of other famous people to learn about, so feel free to browse around.
